With the interest that was generated from folks checking out Tiger Tank when they found out members were disc golfers… we decided to reach out and look for more bands who partake in the passion of disc golf… You in a band? You want us to feature your latest tracks? Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with the particulars… and let’s see if we can’t get you featured here on TALKdg so folks can give you a listen…
Seriously, who can’t use some good tunes on the course?
Most of the top disc golf players say that over half of the game of Disc Golf is mental. This culminates especially in competitive play, whether it’s about playing skins with your buddies or fighting for titles in the big tournaments. We felt that the subject of Mental Game had been neglected in the instructional Disc Golf videos of the past, so we definitely had to make an episode about it to our acclaimed Deep in the Game -series. So without further a due, here’s Discmania founder & CEO Jussi Meresmaa* sharing his secrets to a good head game on the course:
*(Jussi also happens to be one of the most succesful European players of all time, so he really knows what he is talking about)
And if the video wasn’t enough, want to win some sweet Deep in the Game plastic?
Just like with previous videos, we’re running a sticker spotting contest for the Mental Game episode too. Just spot the sticker, submit us the time and place where it was visible for your chance to win! Read the complete instructions from our blog and you’re good to go!
And in a little less than two weeks it’s time for the last episode of Deep in the Game: The Monster Distance. We know you’ve been waiting for this and with big arms like Jussi and Avery offering their tips, we promise it’s going to be a good one!
So it’s time for us to run our first contest in awhile… Thanks to our friends at Paragon Disc Golf, you have a chance to win some FREE SWAG in your size when you tag yourself in one of the pictures in the TALKdg Contest Album. And you too will be saying, “That was easy!!!” – Just like the Paragon Slo-Mo Guy…
Let’s talk rollers… Started throwing rollers down since haven’t been able to add distance any other way with the bum shoulder. You have any advice to share?
Roller of choice right now is an old DX Stingray…

There are times in life when you just have to go ahead with a break up.
Today at Rattling Chains, you get that story.
And though the break ups can be hard, realize, too, that flames sometimes can start back up… maybe.
