Vibram Obex – Release Date, Thursday June 28th

The Vibram Obex – faster than a speeding bullet, stronger than a freight train, more witty than Salma Hayek, and coming to Vibram Pinnacle Retailers on June 28th!

The Obex is an overstable midrange which complements the stable Vibram Ibex.  Offering a smooth, natural release, this disc loves a headwind and has a surprisingly long glide for an overstable disc.   If you need to guarantee your disc does not fade, reach for the Obex.  Available in X-Link and X-Link Firm compounds.  With the Ibex and Obex mids, Vibram has got your approach game covered.

All sorts of stuff over at RattlingChains.com!

It’s been a while since we’ve updated the TalkDG readers about what’s happening over at Rattling Chains, and for that we apologize.

We recently held a successful women’s week, where everything was based on the women’s game. We hope to make that a yearly feature at the site as promoting the game for women is something we should all do.

We’ll have some big things coming soon, too. We just need to iron out a few details before we release these things.

For now, let us get you up to date on some recent things at the blog:

In our most recent poll, we ask golfers how they would react in a hypothetical situation. We’re giving away a disc for the story our staff finds to be the most entertaining. So go vote in the poll and comment there to have a chance to win the disc. Remember, have fun with this. There’s no need to be serious because we hope this situation would never happen. The best response will win a disc!

Vibram’s newest mid-range, the Obex, is set to hit the streets in June, but we had the chance to get our hands on one of the discs. The review — written by three of us — is also on the blog. Check out the thoughts from three players of different skill levels.

Finally, our resident creative guy, Darren, branches out to discuss trash on the courses. Give it a read and maybe we can all make things better!

Thanks to all our readers for coming by daily as we strive to be the best disc golf blog that we can be!
